LOS ANGELES – Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband says the 94-year-old actress is resting after undergoing an operation at a Los Angeles hospital where she also is being treated for an infection.
Frederic Prinz von Anhalt said Sunday that doctors at UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center successfully reattached a tube in Gabor's stomach that became loose and led to bleeding. The celebrity socialite was rushed to the hospital Saturday.
I just hope she goes peacefully. I remember dressing up as Zsa Zsa Gabor one year when I was a little girl. I hate the way our society has no respect for our elders. We all need to remember that--if we're lucky--we, too, will someday be 93. We can only hope that we will be treated with the respect that someone who has lived that long deserves.
