RBI reference rates for US dollar and euro - Times of India

MUMBAI: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today fixed the reference rate for the US dollar at Rs 45.15 per dollar and the euro at Rs 62.95 per euro, as against Rs 45.21 per dollar and Rs 62.43 per euro, respectively on last Friday.

In a press release issued by the RBI , the exchange rates for the pound and yen against the rupee were quoted at Rs 72.5877 per pound and Rs 55.00 per 100 yen, based on the reference rates for the US dollar and cross-currency quotes at noon. The reference rate is based on the noon rates of select banks in Mumbai and the SDR-Rupee rate would be based on this rate, the release added.
