Press Trust of India, March 09, 2010 (Washington) Indian Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao will be on six-day official visit to the USA. This visit is aimed at expanding bi-lateral high-technology trade and stimulating talks on regional-global issues of both sides. Rao will meet top officials of Obama administration in her visit.

Rao, who would embark on the visit to Washington and New York on March 14, will co-chair the seventh meeting of the India–US High Technology Cooperation Group (HTCG) with Dennis F Hightower, Deputy Secretary of Commerce, on March 15-16. This is the first meeting of the HTCG after the Obama administration assumed office in January last year.
