Press Trust of India, February 18, 2010 (Mumbai) Snapping its three-day rally, the Indian rupee on Thrusday fell by 18 paise to 46.28/29 against the dollar amid the US currency nearing a nine-month high against the euro in the overseas market.

The dollar rallied one per cent against the major currencies in New York following upbeat US economic reports while debt concerns still weighed on the euro. The US currency surged nearing a nine-month high against the euro while close to seven-month high against its other major rivals.
