NEW DELHI, Dec. 7 (Xinhua) -- India Monday said that the U.S. has assured it of full support in investigating the involvement of terror suspects David Coleman Headley and his accomplice Tahawwur Rana in "various crimes" in this country.

"Headley and Rana, their involvement in variou s crimes are being investigated and we have been promised total support from the United States investigating agencies. So, we are awaiting the first report of the investigation," Indian External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna told the media in the national capital. The minister's statement came in the wake of a visit by an FBI team in India to share information on alleged links between Headley and Rana with last November's Mumbai terror attacks and several people in this country.
