U.S. Ambassador Susan Rice says North Korea's failed launch of a long-range missile violated the 2006 U.N. Security Council resolutions, which expressly prohibits Pyongyang from conducting ballistic-missile related activities. She says the United States will work closely with its allies in the Security Council to get a united and firm response against North Korea.
